whilst at colorado cup this past year, i decided to help myself to our team supply of bagels during one of our longer breaks/byes during which we were changing fields.
so i pick out a nice lookin bagel and am super happy about the bagel and i take a big bite of it and as soon as i start to chew i realize that the bagel is really soggy from unknown liquid, and for some reason, i look up and make eye contact with the coach of another team who is about 5 feet away from me right as i spit out this huge bite of gross bagel into my hand.
i kind of freeze since this is a super weird thing to have made eye contact with a stranger while doing, and he gives me a disgusted look and i hurriedly throw away the bagel in the trash can.
luckily we had already played them so there was no need for further interaction between us ever again ever.
